The extensive tour will take in more than 8 of China’s major concert halls
In September 2017, Alexander will undertake a major tour of Chinese cities in such concert halls as Shanghai city theatre, Xinghai Concert Hall, Tianjin Grand Theatre. He will perform a programme of Russian works: the Concert Suite from Tchaikovsky’s ballet The Nutcracker, Lullaby Op. 16 No. 1 by Tchaikovsky/Rachmaninov, The Circassian March from Glinka’s Ruslan and Lyudmila transcribed by Liszt, and Night on Bald Mountain and Pictures at an Exhibition, both by Mussorgsky.
