The op. 64 was one of Scriabin’s favorite pieces. Although dissonant & unfamiliar, it contains idiosyncratic harmonies, thunderous sonorities & a restless voluptuous theme that is trying to find a way throughout the whole piece. This was recorded around 1972 for Melodiya.
